Quarterly Association Meeting
Join us for our next quarterly general membership meeting on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 6:30 PM. We will meet at the Harry Stone Recreation Center.

Casa View Community Art Exhibit
Join the Casa View Art Association and Lochwood Library Friends for a vibrant art exhibit celebrating local creativity at the Annual Lochwood Library Art Exhibit! This free event will showcase the incredible talent of our local Casa View artists, featuring a diverse collection of paintings, photography, and mixed media works. Connect with neighbors, and enjoy an inspiring display of artistic expression.
Artist applications are open now! The application can be found here and in person at the Lochwood Library.
The reception will take place April 5th from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the Lochwood Branch Library.Whether you're an art enthusiast or just looking for a fun community gathering, we’d love to see you there!
Spring Trash Bash
Little Casa View Spring Trash Bash
Join us for Spring Trash Bash in Little Casa View! We’re partnering with Ferguson Road Initiative in their 13th Annual Operation Beautification Litter Clean-Up that day - many neighborhoods will join in for this East Dallas-wide community clean up effort!
Let’s come together to keep Little Casa View clean, safe and beautiful with a fun morning of trash collection. We’ll provide all the supplies you need, plus coffee and refreshments to keep you energized.
Please consider bringing a canned good to benefit the White Rock Center of Hope. We will gather canned goods to be delivered to their organization.
City of Dallas Resident Code Academy

Cops, Code and Cuisine
Join us for Cops, Code, and Cuisine, an informal, quarterly neighborhood event hosted by our association! This is a great opportunity to meet representatives from the Northeast Division of the Dallas Police Department and the Code Compliance Department. Come enjoy some good food, connect with neighbors, and bring your questions, concerns, or ideas about our community. Let’s work together to keep our area safe, informed, and thriving. Tour the Fire House!
Join us as we take a tour of Fire Station #39!
Mark your calendars for an exciting and educational event as we tour our local fire station! This is a wonderful opportunity to meet our dedicated firefighters, see the equipment they use, and learn more about the important work they do to keep our community safe. Bring the whole family to enjoy an up-close look at the fire trucks and gear while fostering a stronger connection with our local heroes. This event is perfect for ALL ages - kids from 2 to 92. Bring the whole family and join us for some fire-fighting FUN!
We will take a donation of sports drinks to the station at our visit to support the firefighters. If you would like to contribute, please email us at littlecasaview@gmail.com.

National Night Out
You’re Invited!
Join us for National Night Out on Tuesday, October 1st from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM inside the Casa View Shopping Center outdoor atrium (located at Gus Thomasson & Ferguson).
National Night Out (NNO) is a nationally recognized, annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
This will serve as an opportunity to build community among our neighbors and to connect with Little Casa View and far east Dallas businesses and organizations.
If you or your business are interested in sponsoring the event through a donation (monetary or in-kind), or by participating in the event with a vendor booth, please complete this form and return by email to LittleCasaView@gmail.com no later than September 13th. 
Fall Trash Bash
One of Little Casa View Neighborhood Association’s primary goals is to support the beautification of our neighborhood.
Each year, we gather in the Spring and in the Fall to do a large-scale community trash clean up. We will travel in small groups throughout the neighborhood, collecting and disposing of trash found on the streets, sidewalks and yards.
The more participation we have, the greater the impact! We hope you’ll join us on September 21st!
Volunteers in Patrol (VIP) Training Session
The Dallas Police Department is hosting an official VIP (Volunteers in Patrol) training session on Saturday, August 31st at the Lochwood Library (Address: 11221 Lochwood Blvd, Dallas, TX 75218). The training will last from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
After completing the formal training, residents may become VIP patrol volunteers. VIP members patrol our local community, assessing the area for safety concerns and helping to prevent crime. Volunteers travel in pairs.
*If you are interested in attending the training to become a VIP volunteer, please be sure to contact our VIP coordinator, Cecilia Packheiser at littlecasaview@gmail.com - your RSVP and application are required to attend.
According to the Dallas Police Department: “VIP groups are designed to provide a means for citizens to organize into patrol groups for the purpose of being visible in their community. The value of police-citizen cooperation is well illustrated by the success of Citizen Patrol programs nationwide.
VIP allows citizens to have an active part in combating crime in their patrol area. VIP helps citizens achieve a safer neighborhood through heightened emphasis on citizen involvement in crime prevention. VIP supplements detection and reporting of suspicious persons and activities to the police department. VIP shows a presence of law-abiding citizens patrolling the streets throughout the City of Dallas.”

Cops, Code and Cuisine
Join us for a quarterly meeting with our local police and city code department for a discuss about the needs of our neighborhood. City representatives will be available to share updates, answer questions and educate our neighbors about city code and law enforcement.

Join us for our ongoing series of Summer Yard Socials. The last one of the season will be Friday, June 28th at 1802 Pat Drive.
